Abstract
In the current era, given the decrease in citizens' direct connection with nature, one of the approaches to developing the urban landscape is to emphasize nature-oriented. In the meantime, various models have been proposed for the development of a nature- oriented urban landscape, one of the most important of which is urban agriculture and the present study was written with the aim of identifying the drivers influencing on the development of a nature-oriented urban landscape with an emphasis on urban agriculture in Tabriz metropolis. The research method in the present study is mixed (quantitative and qualitative) with an applied purpose and a descriptive-analytical nature, which in order to analyze the data, have been used the partial least squares model in Smart-pls software and the qualitative approach of content analysis. The research findings show that the greatest impact on the development of a nature-oriented urban landscape with an emphasis on urban agriculture in Tabriz metropolis is related to the management, laws and regulations, economic, social, physical, and design components, respectively. Among the sub-components, the greatest impact is related to the components of developing a strategic plan for the development of urban agriculture, forming partnerships and coordination between organizations involved in city administration and urban agriculture (municipality, city beautification organization, agricultural jihad, etc.), developing binding laws and regulations to prevent the destruction of urban garden and agricultural lands, reviewing and amending the laws of the agricultural and natural resources sector with an approach to supporting urban agriculture and using advanced and modern agricultural equipment, which the structural model values for them have calculated as 0.903, 0.875, 0.822, 0.814, and 0.793, respectively. The results also show that emphasis on four main landscape design indicators, namely aesthetics, functionality, sense of place, and environment, should be considered in nature-oriented urban landscape planning with an emphasis on urban agriculture.
