This study proposes an interactive-evolutionary optimization algorithm with the aim of integrating aesthetic geometry with structural functional requirements in the design of long-span truss roofs. This algorithm uses proportional formulas inspired by natural and Islamic patterns to generate optimal forms. In this multi-objective optimization process, a combination of random generators and human feedback is used to simultaneously respond to structural and aesthetic criteria. The proposed algorithm was tested in the design of a basketball hall and the results showed that higher ratios such as 2.236 provided the best performance in multi-objective goals, but the ratio of 0.75 formed the final form due to visual and functional balance and showed significant improvements compared to the architect's initial form, including a weight reduction of up to 40% and a growth of more than 1000% in the realization of proportions. This approach overall enhances design creativity, reduces time, and provides a systematic framework for developing design methods based on interactive algorithms in architecture.
