The Journal of Human Ecology announces its readiness to receive various types of research and review articles. This journal has been launched with the publication license number 86521 from the Press Supervisory Board of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. The Journal of Human Ecology has been awarded a grade (B) based on the evaluation by the Policy and Planning Office of Research Affairs at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, and the result of this evaluation is available on the Ministry's scientific journals portal.

It is with great pleasure and pride that we announce that this journal has successfully obtained approval and officially entered the Islamic World Citation Index (ISC) on March 13, 2025, under the reference number 1403/9886. The journal Human Ecology is also indexed in the DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) website.

Please note that no Article Processing Charges (APCs) are required for the review process of submitted articles to the Journal of Human Ecology. All submitted articles will undergo a thorough and fair peer-review process, and there are no charges for the review phase. However, costs will only be incurred after the article has received initial acceptance and are related to publication costs, including the assignment of a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and the publication of the article in the journal. The publication fee is 15,000,000 IR RIALs, which will be requested after the initial acceptance and before publication.

This journal adheres to the publication ethics regulations set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follows the executive regulations of the Law on Prevention and Combating Fraud in Scientific Works. The journal receives financial and academic support through the consulting engineers company "Boom and Naqsh Hirkhan."

The Journal of Human Ecology uses the Hamyab Sinaweb plagiarism detection system to protect the intellectual and moral rights of researchers and authors during the article evaluation process. Authors are also encouraged to use the Samim-Noor system for plagiarism checking and to submit the PDF plagiarism report they receive from the system along with their article submission to the journal.

In light of the necessary actions for the Journal of Human Ecology to be indexed in international databases, it is mandatory for all authors (especially the corresponding author) to register and display a free ORCID identifier and academic email. Therefore, authors are kindly requested to obtain an ORCID researcher ID before submitting their articles to the journal.
